Ursprünglich geschrieben von Choja Hiragawa:I will definitely argue against Animal 3 vs Animal 2 because while Animal 3 lets you avoid encounters, Animal 2 is better because 90% of the time you can crush anything with your feet and that's why ? is the best class When the game first starts, you have no backgrounds, so the class cards aren't covered up. ![]() You can move/delete your save file and SS the character select. If you want to get pictures of each class (like the other pages). Thats just build advice, everything else looks great. Linking Enchants is broken.įor Rogue, yeah pretty close, but I would get Shadow 2 first, since the sleath/crit makes the forest about 90x easier.įor ? I found that Animal 3 is OP, and is basically a requirement for Catacombs. He has been running a crazy Enchant build lately, but I don't remember what it had. I don't play mage much, but this is the build my Mage friend uses. His only defense is to kill before being killed. This is because the mage doesn't have a defense ability. Before the update it was almost required to face the Abomination Boss, and really helped vs the Wisp Bossįor Mage, I would actually take INT 3, Spell 3, INT 5. Defense 1 might not be as good as it used to be, I haven't played since the HP bar got added, so I may have to play some more with knight. Holy 1 is nice for beginners, but gives a very marginal bonus to the cautious. The general part I need help for the wiki is clean up and verification/clarification because I'm just one person and I got really tired doing this.įor Knight I would replace Holy 1 with Defense 1 in your strategy section. I would work on zones/monsters pages but I have no idea how the devs named the monsters or what they call the gameplay areas, are they zones or something else? The specific parts I need help on are identifying all of Knight's affinities (I don't like playing Knight), prefixes/suffixes for missing item effects, and updating the spells page. I didn't use the old adventurer/equipment pages because I did not want to mess up what people had going on in there before. The resolution was to make pages with all the information about the game from gameplay and forums and just plain experimenting a lot. ![]() Okay, so for novices and pros of the game, there's not much info in guides or threads and the wiki is barely updated as is (the logo looks like it says "miki", shouldn't it be a giant V logo now?). I even read the Wizardry instruction manual to get an idea of making the pages look good! Stealth does come into play with a monster's ability to detect the player.I can't believe I spent five days compiling data and a whole day making the pages. Bosses will glow so the player can't accidentally run into them. Bosses can be triggered in different ways, but this is usually done by coming into close proximity with them. Each monster has its own set of abilities. There are multiple zones in the game with their own set of monsters and bosses. Certain items, such as potions, can be combined using unlocked skills to create new items. This may be dangerous since items can be cursed and potions can be harmful. The player can use identify scrolls or simply use the unidentified item to learn what it is as well as stats. This includes potions and scrolls which have randomized colors every run. Various items will be found along the way, this includes clothing, armor, rings, talismans, weapons, potions, scrolls, and spells. It is possible to steal from the shopkeeper but they will fight back if you are spotted. There is a shopkeeper located somewhere on the map in every level. There is also a currency in the game which can be used with shopkeepers. Upgrading abilities often leads to a secondary effect such as the ability to use stealth or directional combat. With enough experience the character may be levelled up, in which the player may choose to increase a stat or ability. ![]() The player can further customize a character through attributes unlocked through challenges.ĭefeating monsters and bosses will accrue experience for the character. Vagante features multiple classes which differ in starting equipment as well as skill availability. In Vagante, the player character sets out in a series of dungeons in order to find an "unfathomable treasure." Along the way the player will defeat monsters and various bosses in randomized levels. These are later used to unlock new classes of characters. The game also utilizes a permanent death system and keeps track of player deaths as well as any completed challenges. This includes the ability to unlock classes, equip your character, and a level up system. Vagante is a platforming game which contains RPG and rogue-like elements.
